The events over the past few weeks have been heartbreaking. Many people have asked me questions, vented their anger and cried tears. One person said, they lost their faith in humanity. I replied, “Maybe it is time to place your faith in Someone greater!” This Sunday, September 21st, is National Back to Church Sunday. A day for believers to ask family and friends who do not attend church regularly to come to church to experience God.
Every Sunday is a day we should be asking people to meet Jesus. If you haven’t been to church in a while; go and visit. If you have never attended; give it a try. If you are seeking a place to feel like you belong in community; find a church near you and get involved. If you are looking for love, peace, mercy, grace, freedom, salvation and answers to your problems; I know a Guy, a God! His name is Jesus and He loves you.
Granville Federated Church’s service begins at 10:00 am. Not only are you welcome to come, but God is also waiting for you. Of course, I would love for you to come to my church, yet it is more important for you to go to church, wherever that is. For we are all children of God. Maybe it is time to connect or reconnect with your Father? Go and see what kind of love the Father has given to you!
